Hello to everyone at Earth Institute, Auroville. We were there for the CSEB course, June 2010.
That was really great time for all of us. Real hands on experience to work first time,with so much details,which makes me really confidant about myself.
Teachers are too good there specially Ayyappan Sir and Satprem Sir. Thanks to Earth Institute to organise such a course.

My compliments for the commendable work being done at Auroville, particularly by Satprem and Ayyappan and my gratitude for the orientation which has been a great eye opener. The sustainability of the work being done has impressed upon me the need to take a review and unlearn a lot of what we presently propagate and relearn to enable a more responsible approach to construction at large. Such courses need to be encouraged to our young citizens to appreciate the value of our environment and the crying need to preserve and protect it. I was part of the CSEB course of Feb 2010. I am not an architect but had some experience in building a farmhouse at my farm at Nasik. The course was amazing and helped change many of my ideas. These guys add cement to soil and produce walls and bricks as strong as the ones considered 'normal' !!!
I am planning to start constructing rammed earth walls for an agri-tourism company in Nasik.

New to architecture was I, the Auroville Earth Institute made me discover an architect inside of me.

WOW! what a site. I have been interested in earthen construction in Washington St. USA. WOW! I'm impressed with your work. You are a bless man.

I lived and worked in Auroville between 1969 and 1974. I stayed in Aspiration with the original people who came to help build Auroville. I left there in 1974 to do my nurses training and never went back. My mother Doreen Bell stills lives in Pondicherry at The International Guest House. It is absolutely amazing to see how Auroville has grown and become world renowned. To every one who remembers me - HI There.

Very good project which is environment friendly and people friendly. I will convey this message to my friends and to the organizations.

Just had a trip to Kerala and Tamil Nadu to meet my Auroville batchmates...Vinu and Dinesh.They both are doing really wonderful work out there. Especially Vinu, we are all so much surprised that he has done so much of work within these few years... I mean he has done such good works which you as his teacher would be really proud of! We are really greatful to have a teacher like you Satprem.

Satprem is a man with a mission. His mission is to spread awareness about earth architecture and create AN ARMY OF ECO CONCIOUS ARCHITECTS AND DESIGNERS AND DEVELOPERS ACROSS THE WORLD. The fact that he is willing to share years of his knowledge, experience and expertise makes him a rare individual. This would be his legacy on earth. I am indebted to him for teaching me what I know about earth architecture in such a efficient and no fuss manner. His hands on approach shows his humblenes and friendly nature. InshAllah may God guide him and take him to newer heights of awareness and consciousness in all walks of life.

Your website is very informative. I feel government of India should introduce green house technology in engineering curriculum.
